Description: Project consisted of an expansion to an existing water reclamation facility in Okatie, South Carolina, increasing the plant capacity from 4.4 MGD to 7.5 MGD. Work includes construction of Bioreactor No. 3 tank, secondary clarifier No. 3, RAS/WAS Pump Station No. 2, Effluent Structure No. 2, and miscellaneous site structures with approximately 7,300 CY of concrete. The process employed the use of ultra-violet technology to disinfect effluent, replacing antiquated chlorine system. Encore self-performed 70% of the work including piping, concrete, metals, painting, process equipment and piping installation.
