The best way to describe our program is “hands-on.”
You have a responsibility to the learning experience as a participant, not just an observer. You will perform a variety of tasks during your work term. You may be in the field as a laborer, on the project site as a Project Engineer or the main office working as a Project Engineer or Estimator. During your term you’ll get a better feel for how we construct our projects and what is expected of you as a full-time engineer. In a field-oriented company, every opportunity to work with craftspeople and engineers can be a learning experience if approached with a positive attitude. The person selected to guide and supervise you is someone Encore believes is dedicated to our organization and is a leader. Our goal is to make the work term a positive learning experience that allows you to gain an understanding of the industry and Encore’s superior methods of conducting business. Our program is available for individuals interested in an Alternating Term Co-op, Summer or Extended Internship.
