Project Manager:
This leader has the overall responsibility to ensure that Encore's high standards for quality, scheduling, safety, budget and customer satisfaction are met. They also provide the necessary direction, mentoring, and management of the project staff. The Project Manager partners with the superintendent and assists with construction methods and techniques and the project schedule. Will procure construction materials and equipment; handle safety planning and implementation; monitor and controls costs, change orders, applications for payment, purchase orders and subcontract administration and relations with both owner and engineer.
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Eight plus years in project management, with at least three of these eight years as Project Manager. Experience must be from a self-performing general contractor preferably in W&WWTP construction or other heavy civil engineering construction. You must have proven skills and abilities to lead and mentor a team to achieve a profitable and quality product. P.E. license is strongly preferred.

Project Engineer:
The Project Engineer plans, coordinates and manages on-site engineering and administrative activities. Typical duties include project layout, interpreting plans and specifications, establishing line and grade for crafts and subcontractors, purchasing and material expediting, cost reporting, shop drawing development and review, coordination with Project Superintendent, scheduling, safety planning and implementation, contract administration and coordination with plant operators.
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management as a new graduate or up to two years experience with a self-performing general contractor preferably in W&WWTP construction or other heavy civil engineering construction. You must desire a career path towards Project Management and exhibit both a strong construction engineering and business acumen.

Superintendent:
The Superintendent's responsibilities include on-time completion of the project within budget, while maintaining our company's high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction. This individual supervises and mentors the foreman and craft workers. The duties include schedule development, selecting and designing the concrete formwork, verifying surveying and layout, ensuring proper safety procedures, manpower acquisition, cost control and labor reporting. You must be knowledgeable and experienced with self-performing work and devoted to employee growth and development.
Qualifications:
This position requires eight plus years experience as a Project Superintendent or General Superintendent with a self-performing general contractor preferably in W&WWTP construction or other heavy civil engineering construction. You also must have hands-on skills in concrete or mechanical piping and proven skills and abilities to lead and mentor a team to achieve a profitable and quality product. We prefer advanced education/training from a vocational or technical school, a community college, university or a Journeyman Certification.

Field Engineer:
This position's responsibilities and training encompass construction methods in heavy vertical concrete forming and placing, carpentry, underground and above ground mechanical piping and mechanical equipment installation. In addition, your responsibilities and training cover management responsibilities with safety, documentation, planning and job scheduling, quality and workmanship, cost controls, employee supervision, coaching and development. Our five year, hands-on program will develop strong leadership skills required to manage multiple crews and priorities in field management. This is a hands-on approach to field training in the skilled trades requiring you to perform the technical skills necessary in pipefitting, concrete and mechanical equipment installation.
Qualifications:
We strongly desire a student who has graduated with a technical, vocational or bachelor's degree in engineering or any construction related field or Journeyman Certification. We prefer someone with experience in industrial construction with concrete or mechanical piping. You must have a strong desire for a field management career in heavy civil construction and must be willing to take a hands-on approach to training, plus exhibit a good mechanical and technical aptitude.

Estimator:
This individual is responsible for performing quantity take-off and pricing, utilizing a computer-based estimating system, vendor contact and solicitation, quote analysis and bid preparation, drawing & specification interpretation, MBE/WBE subcontractor/supplier coordination and attend Pre-bid meetings.
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Engineering or Construction Management as a new graduate or up to 15 years of experience in estimating or project management in heavy civil construction. You must possess excellent understanding of construction terminology, the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment, be organized, detailed and thorough, have the ability to communicate with Senior Management and desire a career and career advancement in Estimating.
