Estimator is responsible for performing quantity take-off and pricing utilizing a computer-based estimating system, vendor contact and solicitation, quote analysis and bid preparation, drawing & specification interpretation, MBE/WBE subcontractor/supplier coordination and attending Prebid meetings. Project Engineer plans, coordinates and manages on-site engineering and administrative activities. Typical engineer duties include: project layout, interpreting plans and specifications, establishing line and grade for crafts and subcontractors, purchasing and material expediting, cost reporting, shop drawing development and review, coordination with Project Superintendent, scheduling, safety planning and implementation, contract administration and coordination with plant operators. Superintendent is responsible for the on-time completion of the project within its budget, while maintaining the company's high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction. The Superintendent supervises the craft workers and assigns responsibility to the foreman. Duties also include assisting with schedule development, selecting and designing the concrete formwork, verifying surveying and layout, ensuring proper safety procedures, acquisition of manpower, cost control and labor reporting.
